**Job Title: Packaging Technician** Shift: 12 hours Saturday and Sunday, full time work may be awarded to top performers. Available shifts: Morning 7am - 7pm Night 7pm - 7am Job Description As a Packaging Technician, you will play a crucial role in the production process by assisting in mixing, sorting, and bagging soil materials. You will gather and move materials around the facility, help during production, and ensure smooth changeovers of materials. Responsibilities + Assist in mixing and sorting soil materials. + Gather materials for production processes. + Help with material changeovers and movement around the facility. + Primarily focus on bagging soil materials. + Operate machinery and equipment safely. + Perform general labor tasks including sweeping and preventive maintenance. Essential Skills + Experience with a production environment. + Proficiency in handling landscaping and general labor tasks. + Ability to operate mechanical and production equipment. + Skilled in using hand tools and forklifts. + Knowledge of batching, chemical processing, and quality control. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in packaging and inventory management. + Understanding of material handling and preventive maintenance procedures. Why Work Here? It can be dusty due to product processing, with temperatures varying from very hot in the summer to cold in the winter. Shifts are from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am, on Saturday and Sunday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
