Job Title: Web Developer Overview We’re seeking a Junior Web Developer with strong UI/UX and frontend skills to build responsive, interactive web interfaces and support cloud‑based simulation tools. Key Responsibilities + Develop modular, responsive UI/UX interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, TypeScript + Build touch‑friendly, cross‑platform frontends (Windows & macOS) + Implement interactive features such as drag‑and‑drop, web‑based mapping, and dynamic UI components + Deploy web applications to Azure, managing API connections to multiple backend data sources + Create data visualizations and reports from simulation results + Troubleshoot and debug using Visual Studio + Support installation, testing, updates, and client validation + Recommend improvements for performance, usability, and workflow efficiency Minimum Qualifications + 2+ years UI-focused frontend development (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular) + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field + Experience building data visualizations and reports in an Azure environment + Experience designing and presenting UI/UX for client initiatives + Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating data sources + Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills + Self‑motivated, quick learner, able to work independently + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Desired Skills + Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, XML, Python, C#, scripting + API/Webservice integration + GIS data familiarity + Report generation (scheduled/on‑demand) + Kanban tools (Trello, Jira) + Creativity, adaptability, strong problem‑solving mindset + Simulation or railway industry experience is a plus Skills ui/ux, azure, angular, javascript, sql, xml, python, C#, api webservices Additional Skills & Qualifications -Angular, JavaScript, Typescript, SQL, XML, Python, C#/UI and batch scripting languages -API/Webservice Integration Knowledge -GIS Data Knowledge -Report generation (Scheduled and OnDemand) -Trello or Jira like Kanban board Experience Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.10/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
