**Overview:**
**Web Operations seeks a Web Content Producer to perform website updates in Sitecore CMS. The Web Content Producer will meet with stakeholders regarding their website content and assist in executing content requests, re-formatting content, re-organizing content, correcting errors, and problem solving with a focus on web design best practices, including responsive and accessible design.**
****This is not a web programming/developer position, it is largely based around updating existing content and assisting marketing and program staff in producing new content, however experience with web development technologies and related resources is desired.**
**100% Remote-8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Eastern Time**
**1 year with option to extend for additional years**
**Contractor must have a computer, cell phone, and access to reliable high-speed internet.**
**Required: Sitecore CMS, Office 365, SharePoint, Adobe**
**Small team of 7 (both employees and contractors), full team meetings 2-3x per week**
**Work Arrangement: 100% remote, full-time, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Eastern Time)**
**Interview: panel with 3-4 people from the marketing team, likely followed by second round interview** .
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience
+ Highly preferred: Java Script, Bootstrap, JQuery, Sitecore (Client uses Sitecore CMS)
+ Not a web developer / database admin position. Not writing content; rather churning through content update tickets, taking content, putting onto web page, adding graphics, optimizing, replacing media files, checking for accessibility, making sense of the content.
+ Ability to troubleshoot - why link is broken, etc.
+ Ability to follow a provided organizational template.
+ Attention to detail, customer-service centric (will be speaking with other departments and helping to update their content).
+ Must have familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.2).
+ Must understand how a CMS works.
+ Good to provide portfolio, samples, websites they have worked on.
+ First 30 days: lots of meetings with marketing, walking through SiteCore system, training on how to make content updates using templates.
**Mandatory Qualifications:**
+ 2 or more years experience with Sitecore CMS.
+ 3 years of experience in hand-coding semantic HTML.
+ 3 years of experience with Cascading Style Sheets (Bootstrap version 4; version 5 preferred).
+ 3 years of experience with working with JavaScript libraries (jQuery preferred) within a CMS (Content Management System).
+ The ideal candidate will be fluent in creating responsive and accessible designs for informational graphics, embedded external visualizations (Tableau, ArcGIS, Microsoft BI), videos, and interactive presentations.
+ Experience with web development technologies and related resources such as cascading stylesheets (specifically Bootstrap, version 5), JavaScript (specifically jQuery), and DataTables (Javascript library) is highly desired.
+ Ability to optimize web pages for search engines.
+ Ability to design responsive web pages, and responsive and accessible information graphics.
+ Excellent grammar and verbal skills; ability to offer suggestions for simplifying/presenting complex topics on the web.
+ Familiarity with accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.2); ability to identify and resolve accessibility issues.
+ Ability to create and edit HTML using Adobe Dreamweaver.
+ Ability to find creative solutions to content design requests.
+ Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft SharePoint and Office 365.
+ Ability to create, edit, slice, and compress graphics using Adobe Photoshop is a plus.
+ Organized, professional, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree with a minor in a related field (such as Communications, Marketing, Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Web Design, Web Development, Computer Programming, Graphic Design, Business Administration).
+ Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Digital Marketing, Web Design, Web Development, Computer Programming, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related discipline.
