Wealth Ops Group Manager - Performance Reporting

As the Wealth Operations Group Manager-Performance Reporting you are responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the Wealth Management group. You ensure the efficient and effective delivery of operational processes, including client onboarding, account maintenance, and transaction processing. This role provides leadership to managers and professional associates, is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams, and develops departmental plans aligned with business, production, and organizational priorities

Primary Responsibilities

Operations Management
Monitor operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency across wealth operations.

Team Leadership and Development
Lead and develop managers and professional associates, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Client Service and Relationship Management
Ensure exceptional service delivery to internal and external clients, maintaining strong relationships and resolving escalated issues promptly.

Process Improvement and Automation
Drive initiatives to streamline workflows, leverage technology, and implement automation to improve accuracy and scalability.

Risk and Compliance
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA) and internal policies, maintaining robust controls to mitigate operational risk.

Qualifications

Required

Completed Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.

Minimum of 8 years in wealth management operations or financial services operations.

At least 3–5 years in a leadership capacity managing multiple teams or managers.

Proficiency with SS&C Advent Black Diamond platform or related wealth management systems.

Strong understanding of operational workflows, including client onboarding, account maintenance, and transaction processing.

Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA) and internal risk management policies.

Ability to implement and monitor effective controls to ensure compliance.

Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop managers and professional associates.

Experience in creating and executing departmental plans aligned with organizational priorities.

Skilled in identifying operational inefficiencies and driving automation and process enhancements.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage clients and internal stakeholders effectively.

Preferred

FINRA Series: SIE, 7, 24 or 9/10, 63, 65 and/or 66

Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

CFA and/or CFP

Familiarity with workflow automation tools, data analytics platforms, and CRM systems.

Experience with RIA operations, performance reporting, and portfolio accounting.

Background in change management and strategic planning within wealth management.

Proven record of consistent employment and long-term tenure

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40

Work Schedule: M-F : 4 days in the office; up to 1 day potential to work from home 

Travel:up to 10% 

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $131,000 - $150,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, and relevant skills and experience.
