In J.P.Morgan, the Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) team plays a critical role in ensuring that as an organization, we are compliant with multiple regulations, in order to protect the bank’s reputation and financial assets.
As a Wealth Management KYC Associate within the Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) team, you will be responsible for managing the entire KYC process, ensuring that all client profiles are completed accurately and promptly. You will collaborate with client-facing teams to guarantee all client records adhere to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Client (KYC) regulatory standards. Your role will involve close cooperation with Bankers/Banking Team, Line of Business (LOB) Operations, and Compliance, managing the relationship to facilitate timely client response and feedback. You will also be expected to stay updated with all regulatory changes and requirements related to client KYC, Suitability, and Documentation. You will act as the subject matter expert in Wealth Management sector, bridge the knowledge gap to develop employees, and partner with Bankers/Banking Team, Line of Business (LOB) Operations, and Compliance; managing these relationships to drive timely action & resolve challenges.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplinesAt least 7 years of KYC or related experience, with strong understanding of KYC, AML and regulatory requirements (i.e. HKMA and MAS)Proven ability in team & book of work management; with capability to deep dive into the detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills plus strong negotiating abilities Outstanding client management, partnership building, leadership and direct experience of dealing with multiple stakeholdersStrong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to critically analyze client risk / controlsSelf-starter and is able to operate with minimal oversight
