We are hiring Advanced Pharmacy Technician (Specialty Pharmacy)

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in practicing pharmacy in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, HIPAA guidelines, and departmental policies by accurately interpreting and entering prescription orders.Notify physicians of incomplete or incorrect prescription information and perform physician outreach within legal limits.Assist in obtaining verbal orders for product replacement and missing prescription information from healthcare providers.Manage patient adherence processes and schedule medication deliveries according to Pharmacy Solutions guidelines.

Required Skills

Pharmacy technician certificate and license.3-5 years of experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Retail/Mail Order Pharmacy, PBM, or healthcare provider settings.Certified Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois.

This is a Contract position based out of North Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
