Your New Role...

Being one of the Business Development members of the Studio Tour’s Marketing Team, Business Development Executive will be responsible for both new account acquisition and account management of Trade Partners. Handling day to day queries regarding Partners enquiries, Marketing and future Sales plans. BDE will be the main point of contact for the Trade Partners and may be required to represent the Studio Tour at Trade sales and networking event. The role is based at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo.

Your Role Accountabilities...

Handle day to day Trade Partnerships activities with key focus on revenue optimisation for the Studio Tour’s Trade businessHelp developing business development strategies and plans to be aligned with Marketing budget and achieve given targetsTrack market trends and demand, provide market and competitors updates to the teamCultivate relationship with Trade Partners and make the most of their network and resources to drive sales growthMonitor and analyse the sales performance of Trade Partners and take necessary measuresHandle ticket allocation and inventory optimisationPlan and execute campaigns with Trade Partners to maximise ticket salesConduct marketing activities to raise brand awareness internationally in cooperation with partners and other teamsManage social media accounts for certain foreign markets in cooperation with partners and other teamsHost guests such as partners and influencers at the Studio TourOrganise events such as FAM trips chiefly at the Studio Tour, participate in local/global Trade shows and networking events and represent Studio Tour at those events (business trips may require)Generate sales leads for leisure and education groups in Japan and internationallyDevelop effective relationships with internal teams including IT, Finance, Operations, Events and Commercial teams for cross teams collaborationsHandle ad hoc project work as dictated by business needsHandle the update of Trade Sales presentation and Marketing materials on a regular basisAs a member of Studio Tour Marketing team, assist in any activities when required

Qualifications & Experiences...

More than 5 years work experience with at least 3 years of Sales or Business Development experiences in any of Travel, Hospitality, Hotel, Travel Agents, OTA, DMC and Attraction businessExperience in the Leisure / Tourism / Attractions industry an advantageExperience in marketing an advantageBusiness level of Japanese and English (speaking and written)

Skills Required

Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skillsExcellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skillsCapability to handle uncertainty and take initiative to work on projects with least guidanceStart-up and entrepreneurial attitudeCommercially astuteProactive and self-motivated

At times, the role will require regular working during evenings, weekends and school holidays which are the peak operating times.
