Job Description
As a Wax Assembly Worker in our Wax Department, you will be responsible for assembling complex wax patterns and gating systems used in the investment casting process. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow technical instructions to ensure high-quality mold production. We are hiring for both morning and afternoon shifts, with an additional shift differential for the afternoon shift.
Responsibilities
Assemble complex wax patterns and gating components using wet welding (torch), hot pencils, and hand tools.Read and follow detailed TECH card instructions for unique and varied assembly steps.Inspect pattern and gating components before and after assembly.Use full-time assembly fixtures to maintain dimensional control and stability.Modify gates by reshaping, splicing, or reducing to ensure proper assembly and gauge contact areas using hot pencil, torch, or paint seal.Fabricate basic gating from raw stock.Develop code sheets for engineering-requested modifications.Ensure quality by inspecting assemblies throughout the process.Essential Skills

Work Environment
The work environment exposes employees to noise, dust, fumes, and smoke, all within OSHA limits. Health and safety training is provided, along with necessary protective equipment. Physical requirements include constant sitting and lifting, frequent handling/grasping, occasional standing/walking, infrequent reaching above shoulder, and seldom keyboard use.
