Job Description
This position offers the opportunity to work in various divisions such as Commercial Air Vapor Barrier, Commercial Hot Applied, Commercial Traffic Coatings, Commercial Insulators, and the Specialty Group focused on new construction. The role involves assisting with construction labor tasks, including demolition and moving materials to new locations. This is a physically demanding job requiring the ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and the use of hand and power tools.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with construction labor tasks, including demolition and moving materials.Operate hand and power tools efficiently.Read and interpret measurements accurately using a tape measure.Handle and apply epoxy when necessary.Work outdoors in various weather conditions on commercial construction sites.Essential SkillsGeneral labor and construction labor experience.Ability to read a tape measure and apply epoxy.Experience with hand tools and general construction equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsValid driver's license.Ability to pass a 5-panel drug test.Good attendance and punctuality, verified through references.Minimum of 6 months of construction experience, with the ability to handle different weather conditions.Capability to lift up to 70 pounds, verified with references.Work Environment
The work environment consists of commercial construction job site. The role involves working hours from 6:30 am to 5 pm, starting at the company shop with transportation to job sites provided. While primarily based in Milwaukee, some travel may be required. The team size ranges from 1-3 people, and the dress code includes leather boots, high-visibility shirts, and a hard hat.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
