### Job Duties Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Public Works Department including street & storm sewer system; parks; and the water and wastewater facilities and system. Work involves the enforcement of all local, state, and federal safety and environmental rules and regulations. ### Minimum Education Required • Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment physical. • Must possess high school diploma or equivalent. • Must possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license. • Class “D” Wastewater Operator’s License or ability to obtain licensing with time set by the Milroy City Council. • Class “D” Water Operator’s License or ability to obtain licensing with time set by the Milroy City Council. ### Minimum Experience Required • Knowledge of equipment and tools used on the job. • Basic mechanical ability. • Knowledge to keep accurate records for water and wastewater. • Basic computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Excel and Word. • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, public officials and the public. • Good written and oral communication skills. • Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work some evenings and weekends. ### Shift First (Day) ### Number of Openings 1 ### Physical Required Yes ### Drug Test Required No ### Compensation $ / Hourly ### Postal Code 56263 ### Place of Work On-site ### Requisition ID 2483 ### Job Type Full Time ### Job Benefits health insurance, paid time off, PERA ### Application Email milroy@mnval.net
