We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Engineer to join a leading engineering, planning, environmental, and surveying consulting firm. This position offers a chance to work on exciting projects related to water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection, and conveyance systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil or environmental engineering and will play a crucial role in project development and management.
ResponsibilitiesPerform field investigations, field sampling, and surveys.Develop, manage, and implement tasks associated with sanitary sewer and potable water projects.Assist with projects related to stormwater and roadways.Oversee and complete assigned projects.Prepare proposals and manage construction project administration.Gather, compile, and analyze data.Review and understand permit requirements.Facilitate and maintain open communication with project team members, clients, and contractors.Interface directly with clients.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.3-8 years of relevant work experience.Knowledge of civil engineering, construction drawings, AutoCAD Civil 3D, wastewater and water resources.Familiarity with environmental permit compliance.Additional Skills & QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) License is a plus.Water and/or Wastewater certification or licensure is a plus.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Strong time management and organizational skills.Must have a valid Driver's License.CADD experience preferred but not required.Experience in preparing specifications and bid documents.Work EnvironmentThis position is based on-site in Mount Holly.
