Water Transfer Operator
**Job Title: Water Treatment Operator** **Pay Rate:** $20-$22 **Location:** Fort Lupton, Colorado **Hours:** 65-85 hours per week **Shifts:** Nights **Job Description** As a Water Treatment Operator, you will be responsible for collecting, moving, and treating water through poly pipe, lay flat hose, and underground pipeline systems. This role involves working with crews to set up, operate, and ensure the smooth running of water treatment jobs, which may include working with chemicals, collecting and testing samples, and recording data. You will be expected to maintain, set up, and clean machines throughout the job cycle and operate essential equipment for water transfer operations. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate water treatment systems using poly pipe, lay flat hose, and underground pipelines. + Collect samples, test them, and record data of samples and water usage. + Maintain and clean machines before, during, and after jobs. + Pick up and lay out poly line and lay flat hose. + Run transfer pumps and other essential equipment for water transfer operations. + Observe machine operations and adjust controls to maintain specified conditions. + Set and service pumps and generators at job sites. + Follow all safety procedures required for specific job tasks. + Assist in containment and spill clean-ups. + Communicate effectively with other workers using signals and radios. + Successfully complete training as directed for DOT, OSHA, and safety. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical aptitude + Ability to observe and adjust machine operations + Strong communication skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Background in agricultural, general labor, construction, manufacturing, or warehouse preferred. + Open to all backgrounds with a stable work history. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions directly impact the success of essential water treatment operations. Work is conducted outdoors, often on a pad or cutting across the right-of-way to access water. Shifts are at least 14 hours long, starting at 6 am or 6 pm, with a rotating schedule that includes varied days off every three weeks. Compensation begins upon arrival at the shop and continues until returning in the evening. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Lupton, Colorado. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
