We are seeking a dedicated Water Resources Engineer to engage with a diverse range of project types and sizes. This role involves the planning, permitting, engineering, and design of various projects while collaborating with a team of skilled water resource engineers and partnering with clients in the Minnesota market. The position primarily focuses on the technical aspects of projects, requiring experience in designing and reviewing grading, drainage, water, hydrology, and erosion control.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and review grading, drainage, water, hydrology, and erosion control for projects.Handle planning, permitting, engineering, and design tasks for diverse projects.Prepare reports, concept designs, and oversee construction specifications and drawings.Develop bidding and permit documents.Conduct site visits and participate in client meetings as needed.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in water resources engineering.5+ years of experience in construction drawings and engineering within water projects.3+ years of modeling experience, including restoration.Proficiency in design and stormwater management using tools like HydroCAD.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with watershed districts and managing projects is advantageous but not required.Work EnvironmentOur Client offers multiple office locations around the Twin Cities area, with the largest office situated in downtown Minneapolis. While the role is primarily office-based, there is some flexibility and occasional field work or site visits. Teams of six work closely together, providing continuity and client familiarity, and report to a project manager. Opportunities for career growth are available, allowing individuals to either deepen their technical expertise or progress into project management and leadership roles.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $42.00 - $61.00/hr.
