What You’ll Do + Lead and support civil and water resource engineering design for stormwater, drainage, sewer, and utility systems. + Conduct hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) modeling for stormwater, sewer networks, and flood‑risk mitigation. + Prepare high‑quality design documents: plans, profiles, grading, utilities, and construction details. + Develop and review technical reports, feasibility studies, and engineering calculations. + Ensure compliance with NYC DEP regulations and coordinate with agency partners. + Serve as a technical lead, mentoring junior engineers and guiding project teams. + Manage multiple projects, deliverables, schedules, and client expectations. + Maintain strong communication with clients and internal teams. + Uphold rigorous QA/QC standards across all project phases. What You Bring + Proven experience in stormwater, water resources, drainage, sewer, and pumping station design. + Expertise in hydraulic modeling, stormwater design, and flood mitigation strategies. + Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ArcGIS. + 6–10 years of experience in water resources or water/wastewater infrastructure. + Familiarity with NYC DEP regulations and wastewater design standards. + Experience with EPA SWMM and green infrastructure. + Bonus: Experience with Infoworks ICM. + EIT certification with commitment to obtaining PE within one year. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr. Comprehensive benefits package offered by Boomi, including 401K matching with immediate vesting and PE licensure support. Company pays for 80% of most benefits and some 100% coverage.
