Job Description
As a Wastewater Operator, you will be tasked with effectively treating wastewater by removing solid waste, decanting clean water to the sewer, and disposing of dewatered solids. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the area, managing inventory of raw materials, and ensuring the maintenance of the wastewater department. Additionally, you will interact with the county during inspections and maintain a chain of custody for tested samples. You will be required to complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports, reporting these to the VP of EHS, PPM Management, and the county as needed.
ResponsibilitiesTreat wastewater and remove solid waste.Decant clean water to the sewer.Dispose of dewatered solids.Maintain cleanliness and inventory in the wastewater area.Ensure maintenance of the wastewater department.Interact with county officials during inspections.Maintain chain of custody for tested samples.Complete and submit reports to relevant parties.Essential SkillsLicensed in Industrial Wastewater Treatment by the State of GA.Proficiency in wastewater treatment processes.Mechanical skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift skills (Sit down required; Scissor lift and Stand up are pluses).Why Work Here?

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, Georgia.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
