Job Title: Foreman

Job Description

This position involves working with varying sizes of pipes, with the largest being 24 inches in diameter and up to 40 feet in length. The role requires experience with both underground and above-ground piping, specifically with ductile iron and HDPE pipes. While welding is not performed, proficiency in bolting and fusing HDPE piping is essential. Experience in wastewater or water systems is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Review plans and permits to ensure compliance.Supervise, train, and develop work crews, providing assistance as needed.Maintain a safe worksite, enforce safe work practices, and adhere to OSHA regulations.Address potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines and falling objects.Ensure materials, equipment, and tools are safely managed and maintained.Inspect company vehicles for proper operation and security, and report maintenance needs.Practice proper housekeeping to ensure safety for the public, employees, and the environment.Utilize company software for daily reports, timekeeping, and communication.Enter and submit crew hours of work accurately into Procore.Conduct safety inspections and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.Ensure all jobs meet quality standards and company expectations.

Essential Skills

High School diploma or equivalent education.5+ years of experience in industrial construction, including skills with concrete and piping.Flexibility in personal schedule, including nights and weekends.Strong focus on safety, quality, integrity, and teamwork.OSHA and related safety training.Ability to exert physical effort and lift up to 100 pounds.Knowledge in underground wet utility installation.Leadership and problem-solving skills.Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean record.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in wastewater treatment is a plus.Concrete experience is beneficial.Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
