Job Title: Waste Water Technician
Job Description

This role involves the day-to-day operation of industrial systems to ensure data collection and analysis, water quality, and system performance are within contractual limits. The position is primarily located in the paint department, where you will test water from the sludge pit and conduct daily pH and conductivity tests while ensuring the machines remain operational.

ResponsibilitiesOperate industrial systems to maintain water quality and system performance within contractual limits.Perform water testing in the paint department, specifically from the sludge pit.Conduct daily pH and conductivity tests.Monitor machines to ensure they remain operational.Collect and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.Communicate effectively with teammates and clients, providing repair suggestions tailored to different communication styles.Essential SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED.1 to 2 years of experience in industrial, mechanical, or equivalent work.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel.Strong critical and analytical thinking skills.Solution-driven mindset.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of Power BI is a bonus.Highly data-driven role, requiring experience in data collection and data entry.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment requires you to be on your feet walking most of the day, so comfortable shoes are highly recommended. You will need to provide your own closed-toe shoes, but all other personal protective equipment (PPE) will be supplied. The standard shift is from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays for overtime, given a 48-hour notice.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
