Job Title: Waste Handler
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Waste Handler to join a chemical plant in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and cleaning drums within the production plant that previously contained chemicals. This position requires physical strength as you will repetitively lift drums weighing between 25 to 50 pounds. Additionally, you will operate a forklift 20% of the time to move pallets of drums around the plant. The role is highly independent, with only one other person on your team.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position within a manufacturing facility in Des Moines, Iowa. The shift runs from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. You will work closely with one other team member, necessitating strong independent work skills. The dress code includes uniforms, steel-toed boots, and hair nets, and you will be required to shower after your shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
