SCOPE\nResponsible for washing and drying all items that needs to be processed.

Key ResponsibilitiesMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperates the washer extractor machine and responsible for cleaning all items that requires it by following the established programming or washing formulations and the standard operating procedure of the equipment.\nSorts and segregates every article according to colors shades and kind of materials before loading into the machine and ensures the appropriate processing programs as required.\nScrutinize every item to carefully check for any defect or discrepancies and conducts the color testing of every item for color fastness.\nPerforms the hand washing of delicate items as necessary ensuring that it is handled properly as required.\nCheck every item after the process to ensure the fullest quality standard.\nMaintains the daily production report and submit to Supervisor at every end of the day.\nCleans the lint trap compartment of the Dryer Machine before starting the operation and as often as required.\nEnsures the cleanliness of the assigned machinery and equipment all the time.  Reports to supervisor any unusual function of the equipment at first notice.\nMaintains the appropriate required supplies of detergents and other chemicals.  Initiates refills and requisition when necessary and follow up with the Supervisor to ensure appropriate stocks to use are available at any time.\nEnsures cleanliness of the whole area all the time.\nPerforms all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.\nTo understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, and Health & Safety.\nTo ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.\nAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.\n

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise\nNATIONALITY: Eligible for a working permit in country of hire\nEDUCATION: Specialized secondary education\nEXPERIENCE: To fill the position, one of the following is required:\n2 years working experience in a similar field\nPreferably in either 5 star Hotel, or professional tailoring\n\nLANGUAGE: Ability to work and communicate in a multinational environment:\nLocal language – excellent oral and written skills (as applicable)\nEnglish –  beneficial\nAdditional language - beneficial\n\nCOMPETENCIES: Include the skills the candidate must have to fill this position:\nClothes Spots types and process\nChemicals awareness\n\nTECHNICAL COMPETENCIES: Computer literacy adapted to the field of training:\nsewing\nmaintain sewing machine\n\nINDIVIDUAL  CHARACTERISTICS: To fill this position the candidate must identify with the Kempinski core values, in addition they should be especially:\nPeople Oriented\nPassionate for European luxury\nEntrepreneurial\nStraightforward\nAccurate \nEfficient\nAttention to details\n\nOTHER SKILLS: Depending on region and property.
