Job Description
As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in assembling and filling orders to be shipped to customers or other divisions. You will be responsible for loading and unloading common carrier and company vehicles, as well as assembling customer orders to be shipped via UPS/LTL. Your role involves processing paperwork regarding shipments, verifying merchandise, applying correct postage tape, filling out proper BOL information for LTL shipments, following customer shipping instructions, and insuring shipments when necessary.
ResponsibilitiesGather assembled orders in carts and verify their quantities and descriptions.Count and write total quantity of merchandise being shipped on the invoice.Pack each order into a container and arrange the container onto a shelf according to truck route.Verify quantities and items being shipped against the invoice.Substitute for other warehouse personnel when needed.Use a scanner for Warehouse Management System, picking orders, and general put away of material after receipt.Perform other duties as assigned.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to lift 50+ pounds throughout your shift.Able to meet deadlines.Excellent attendance record required.Ability to work overtime as needed.General knowledge of electrical products.Effective communication skills with co-workers.Basic mathematical skills to accurately complete tasks.Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
