Job Title: Warehouse Worker (Shipping/Receiving & Production Operators – 1st Shift)

About the Opportunity

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as Shipping/Receiving Operators and Production Operators on the first shift. These roles are essential to keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly and ensuring the safe, accurate handling of our products.

Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral DutiesSafely operate a forklift for 20%–50% of your shift.Lift and move materials up to 75 lbs (not continuously).Adhere to OSHA, ISO, and all internal safety procedures.Maintain proper rotation and organization of raw materials.Production Operator DutiesPackage chemicals and label containers accurately.Ensure proper documentation and inventory accuracy.Assist in maintaining clean and organized production areas.Shipping/Receiving Operator DutiesStage, wrap, and prepare finished products for shipment.Load and unload trailers, typically handling 5–10 trucks per day.Verify and document incoming and outgoing materials.Required Skills & ExperienceMinimum 1 year of forklift operation experience.Strong understanding of inventory and warehouse processes.Ability to safely load/unload trailers.Excellent attention to detail, especially when labeling or documenting materials.Preferred QualificationsExperience using RF scanners.Background in material handling.General labor or warehouse experience.Why You’ll Love Working HereBe part of a tight-knit team where your contributions truly matter.Enjoy first shift hours, with optional overtime available.Uniforms provided once hired directly.Eligible for PTO/Vacation, quarterly raises, and strong potential to grow from temporary to full-time employment.A culture built on teamwork, safety, and dedication.Work Environment

You’ll work in a clean, well-lit, and safety-focused facility staffed by about 20 team members. Our warehouse handles various chemicals used in steel manufacturing, and our employees are cross-trained to support multiple functions—helping the entire team succeed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eldridge, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
