Job Description
As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of receiving, inspecting, and managing inventory. You will be responsible for storage, replenishment, order picking, and packing, as well as data entry and shipment preparation.
Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and control inventory.Store, replenish, pick orders, check, pack, and mark shipments.Stage, consolidate, and ship orders.Enter data accurately and efficiently.Compare identifying information and verify shipments against documentation.Assemble containers and pack items securely.Label shipments with information and instructions.Post weights and shipping charges, affix freight tags.Determine shipment methods using knowledge of procedures, routes, and rates.Verify, pack, record, and ship items to customers, trade shows, and other offices.Direct others in preparing outgoing or receiving incoming shipments.Receive and verify parcels from carriers, maintain security and notify recipients.Reject damaged items, record shortages and damages.Route shipments to departments using equipment.Receive damaged or defective goods returned to the company.Load and unload shipments by hand or forklift.Record all goods returned, whether authorized or unplanned.Move materials from receiving to storage.Complete daily cycle counts.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dundee, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
