Job Title: 2nd shift Warehouse Worker
Schedule: 3pm-11:30pm M-F occasional mandatory overtime on Saturdays
Job Description
This position involves ensuring the accurate and timely kitting and movement of materials to support plant production lines. The role requires high proficiency in supporting assembly and fabrication teams through precise material movement, stockroom replenishment, and assisting the shipping team. The successful candidate will prioritize tasks and adapt to various workstations as needed.
Responsibilities
Ensure personal and team safety by observing all safety rules and using proper safety equipment.Plan and coordinate material flow to support plant manufacturing, maintaining a high level of customer focus.Meet quality standards consistently and commit to departmental safety goals.Maintain and sustain 5S standards in the department.Serve as a spotter for the Shipping Team to reduce risk and prevent damage.Participate in continuous improvement efforts for cost reduction and process enhancement.Support production through accurate material movement and stockroom replenishment.Identify production shortages and coordinate solutions with purchasing.Complete paperwork or online data entry accurately as required by the department.Ensure timely delivery of products to the correct location.Maintain a neat and orderly staging area for materials.Perform duties in a manner that embraces sustainability and reduces environmental impact.Support a culture of innovation by improving processes, methods, systems, or services.Essential Skills
Prior supply chain experience preferred.Competent writing skills for documenting processes.Effective verbal communication skills.Strong mathematical skills, including fractional computations.Knowledge of inventory management systems.Flexibility and adaptability to change.Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.Understanding of LEAN principles, including 5S and Kanban.Basic computer skills for locating relevant instructions and forms.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ability to use hand, power, and air tools.Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.Mechanically inclined with experience in mechanical assembly.Construction or mechanical background in a manufacturing facility is preferred.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The manufacturing facility is loud, requiring hearing protection. Most work is inside, but exposure to weather elements is possible due to open bay doors. Housekeeping is performed per shift, but expect to get dirty. Steel toe or composite toe boots are required, along with PPE such as ear plugs, safety glasses/goggles, gloves, and arm shields provided by the client.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.66 - $19.66/hr.
