The Specialist Fulfillment is responsible for supporting order processing and assisting in the preparation and distribution of prescription medication using the fulfillment system in a specialty pharmacy environment.

ResponsibilitiesPerform manual packing duties including packing and shipping completed orders.Verify accuracy and conformance to quality standards/specifications.Prepare packages for mailing.Stock non-pharmaceutical products where permitted by pharmacy regulations.Assist with department training and support as needed based on judgment or necessity.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.1–2 years of relevant experience.Good verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate diplomatically and confidentially.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively, with or without accommodations.Ability to perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting.Willingness to work a flexible shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with material handling, unloading, shipping & receiving, cycle counts, stocking, and labeling.Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The position is based in a specialty pharmacy located in Pittsburgh, PA (North Fayette suburb), where all mail order prescription medications are shipped out. It operates Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM. The work involves a significant responsibility, as these medications are crucial for life-and-death situations. The environment is focused on ensuring timely and accurate shipments, emphasizing the importance of each team member's role.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
