Responsibilities

Process customer orders daily to meet expectations.Work in one or more process paths: receiving, picking, packing, or shipping.Package and label shipments according to standard operating procedures.Complete documentation requirements for hazardous materials.Ensure inventory is stored properly.Operate swing reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers (training available).Accurately sort cartons onto pallets and prepare products for storage.Pack and prepare orders for shipping.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.Follow all company safety and compliance guidelines.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of general warehouse experience.Experience with powered industrial trucks (order pickers).Ability to stand and move about the warehouse for long periods (walking, stooping, bending, reaching).High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Must be able to read and write in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals) is a plus.Experience with computers and scanning equipment is a plus.Experience with order picking and receiving operations.Prior experience operating swing reach trucks and stand-up forklifts.Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet.Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

This is a Contract position based out of Agawam, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
