The primary role of a warehouse worker is to receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. This role requires efficiency and attention to detail to ensure the orderly management of inventory and supplies.

ResponsibilitiesReceive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigating discrepancies, or adjusting errors.Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.Essential SkillsStrong verbal and written communication skills.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work effectively as part of a team and attention to detail.Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies for promoting effective security operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.2-4 years of experience in a similar role.Proficiency in receiving, scanning, packing, picking, and shipping.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This role operates on a shift schedule from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, with varying days off including Saturday and one additional weekday. The position involves working in a warehouse setting, ensuring that all safety and operational procedures are adhered to.

This is a Contract position based out of Mansfield, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
