Responsibilities

Process customer orders daily to meet service expectations.Work in one or more warehouse functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, or put-away.Accurately pick items and prepare them for shipment.Pack items using appropriate materials and documentation.Label and package shipments according to standard operating procedures, including hazardous materials documentation.Operate warehouse equipment such as swing reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers. Training provided if needed.Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and complete tasks.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.Follow all safety and compliance guidelines.

Essential Skills

High school diploma or equivalent.2+ years of general warehouse experience.Experience with powered industrial trucks such as order pickers, forklifts, swing reach trucks.Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals).Familiarity with warehouse management systems, computers, and scanning equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach for extended periods.Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet.Strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new systems and equipment.Must be able to read and write in English.

Work Environment

The position involves working on the 1st shift pick/pack team from Monday through Friday. The role requires handling, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Training is provided for operating warehouse equipment, and safety protocols are strictly adhered to.

This is a Contract position based out of Agawam, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
