Material Handler – Freight Forwarding Warehouse

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and dependable Material Handler to join our fast-paced freight forwarding warehouse team on the West Side of Oʻahu, HI. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our logistics and delivery services. The position is full-time with early morning shifts and opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

Unload containers manually and with the use of forklifts.Load trucks accurately and efficiently for scheduled deliveries.Handle incoming and outgoing freight with care and attention to detail.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow safety protocols and company procedures at all times.Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Essential Skills

Prior warehouse or freight handling experience preferred.Forklift experience required (certification a plus).Ability to lift heavy items and work on your feet for extended periods.Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work early morning shifts.Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in logistics or delivery services.Forklift certification is advantageous.Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight schedules.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a fast-paced warehouse setting with early morning start times ranging from 5am to 7am, and finish times between 2pm and 4pm, with potential for overtime. The facility is closed on Saturdays, and employees must wear steel toe shoes as part of the required personal protective equipment. The company provides its own forklift certification training, which includes both classroom and practical evaluations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of KAPOLEI, Hawaii.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
