The individual will be responsible for unloading trucks by hand and sorting products according to their designated locations within the warehouse. This role involves de-palletizing, breaking down, and separating materials efficiently. Utilizing a pallet jack, the worker will place items in their assigned storage spots. Morning clean-up after loaders is required to maintain a tidy workspace. The worker must check product temperatures to ensure proper storage, particularly for food items, to prevent spoilage. Responsibilities also include moving items in and out of cold storage, palletizing for forklift transport, and possibly shrink-wrapping items. Expiration date labeling is also part of the duties.
