As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a crucial role in receiving and unloading incoming materials, verifying shipment accuracy, and processing return shipments. You will utilize handheld barcode scanners to document inbound and outbound materials, ensuring orders are pulled accurately and staged for loading. Your responsibilities will also include cutting aluminum and brushes according to production guidelines, maintaining inventory records, and preparing shipments for transportation.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and unload incoming material and verify information on packing slips against purchase orders.Sort, count, package, and unpack inbound and outbound materials.Utilize handheld barcode scanners to complete necessary documentation.Pull orders accurately through completion and stage loading/unloading areas with material.Cut aluminum and brush within required tolerances per production order guidelines.Inspect materials for damage or defects and notify the supervisor or purchasing personnel.Fill and maintain bins and racks, checking inventory levels and maintaining records.Prepare shipments for transport and determine the most economical shipping method.Enter data for UPS orders and load/unload trucks.Build pallets and maintain pallet racks and aisles.Operate punch press and perform housekeeping and building maintenance duties.Ensure compliance with all safety-related regulations.Band and wrap skids, make boxes, and assist with inventory management and physical inventory.Serve as a member of the warehouse team and provide assistance as needed.Keep the supervisor informed of key issues.Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential SkillsExperience with order pulling and material handling.Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.Skills in loading, unloading, and inventory control.General labor experience with the ability to use hand and power tools.Basic reading and math skills.Capability to stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in data entry and counting inventory.Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Thursday, with one day off, from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Fridays from 5 am until the work is finished, totaling 38-42 hours per week. You will work in a small warehouse with a family-like environment. The workspace is ventilated with fans, and dock doors are open, which means cooler conditions in winter and warmer conditions in summer, especially in trucks. You are allowed to have one earbud in during work.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
