Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Hours: M-F - 7:00am-4:30pm Pay: $19/hrOT available

Job Description

Join our dynamic team in a general warehouse position where you will be responsible for picking tires to prepare for shipping and handling incoming truck loads. This role involves pulling tires off pallets, scanning for DOT information, and placing them on a conveyor belt for shipment. Over time, you will have the opportunity to operate a cherry picker and potentially learn to use a forklift. This is a long-term position with opportunities for cross-training in various areas such as Customer Pick-up, Shipping, Mount and Balance, and shrink wrapping.

Responsibilities

Pick and prepare tires for shipping.Unload and store incoming truck loads.Pull tires off pallets and scan for DOT information.Place tires on conveyor belts for shipment.Operate a cherry picker to pick tires and move pallets.Participate in cross-training for Customer Pick-up, Shipping, Mount and Balance, and shrink wrapping.

Essential Skills

6+ months of experience in a warehouse or similar fast-paced environment.Ability to lift 60 pounds at least three times per day.Flexibility with work hours, including extended hours during peak seasons.Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in order picking and using an RF scanner.Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

Work Environment

The work environment is extremely clean, well-lit, and spans 139,000 square feet. You will work in various areas, including Shipping, Customer Pick-up, Packaging and 'airing up,' and shrink wrapping. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans, t-shirts or sweatshirts, and tennis shoes, with no steel toes required. The shift is from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM with a flexible start and end time, and an unpaid lunch break. During busy seasons from October through January, be prepared to work up to 60-hour weeks.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
