**Job Title: Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. Initially, you will work on a contract basis for 90 days, after which you will transition to a permanent position with the Union. The position involves shipping and receiving materials, using a sit-down forklift, and assembling shipments. You will also be required to use a computer to update records and print work orders.
**Responsibilities**
+ Handle shipping and receiving of materials
+ Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks
+ Assemble shipments and use a nail gun to make custom wood crates as needed
+ Utilize a computer to update records and print work orders
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in using a sit-down forklift
+ Basic computer skills
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
+ Comfortable working in a loud environment handling heavy and sharp metal materials
+ Willingness to work occasional Saturdays

**Work Environment**
The facility is loud and requires employees to be safety-conscious due to handling heavy and sharp metal materials. It is not temperature controlled, so expect hot conditions in summer and colder in winter. Proper attire includes steel-toed boots, jeans or pants without holes, and a T-shirt.
**Job Type & Location**
This position is based out of Libertyville, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.75 - $20.75/hr.
