Job Title: Warehouse Employee
Job Description

Join our team as a Warehouse Employee, focusing primarily on order building while being cross-trained in picking, packing, and shipping as needed. This role involves physically assembling shipping frames, managing large and sometimes awkward parts, and ensuring orders are correctly prepared for shipment.

ResponsibilitiesPull order sheets to prepare for building orders.Construct shipping frames using power tools.Manually handle and fill orders with large components.Use grinders or chop saws to cut products to the correct length as needed.Wrap and secure orders to prepare them for shipment.Move completed orders to the shipping area.Assist in picking and packing small parts or kits as necessary.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude with a proven ability to operate power tools.Experience in a warehouse environment.Proficiency in following work instructions or order sheets.Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Teams and email usage.Ability to stand for 8 hours a day.Steel-toed or composite shoes are required.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with picking and kit building is a plus.Familiarity with RF guns, inventory management, and general labor tasks is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a standard warehouse environment with a laid-back and friendly atmosphere. The facility is temperature-controlled, with music playing over the speakers. Safety shoes and gloves are required when using tools. The shift runs from 8:30 AM to 4:45 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week with two paid breaks and an unpaid lunch. Occasional overtime may be needed depending on business demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
