Job Description
A large manufacturer in Anderson, IN is seeking dedicated Warehouse Workers to join both morning and night shifts. The role involves learning and working across the entire distribution center, including picking, loading, and receiving. This position is an open-ended contract, with potential for permanent positions for standout employees.
ResponsibilitiesAccurately pick products from designated locations based on order specifications.Safely operate an electric pallet jack to transport products throughout the warehouse.Use scanning equipment to ensure correct items are picked and track inventory.Double-check picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.Place picked items onto pallets in a secure and organized manner.Pull pallets off the conveyor and scan them using the provided equipment.Utilize the SAP system to determine the appropriate door for each pallet.Transport pallets to the designated door using a sit-down forklift.Ensure all safety protocols are followed during the loading process.Use the SAP system to identify the correct door for incoming shipments.Unload shipments from trucks and other delivery vehicles.Stage the area for the next order by tucking the tails, ensuring tags and labels are correct, and putting items away.Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.Follow all safety guidelines and procedures during the receiving process.Essential SkillsWillingness to operate electric pallet jackWillingness to learn and operate sit-down forkliftAbility to work in cold temperaturesSelf-motivated and staying on taskAdditional Skills & QualificationsRF scanner experiencePicking experience in a warehouse environmentElectric pallet jack experienceWhy Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a 45-degree warehouse with all necessary cold weather gear, such as bibs and gloves, provided. Employees are required to wear jeans and steel-toed or composite-toed shoes. The shift hours include a morning shift from Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 2 PM for training, transitioning to a 6 AM to 6 PM schedule on a 2-2-3 rotation. The night shift runs from Sunday to Thursday, 6 PM to 2 AM for training, moving to 6 PM to 6 AM on a 2-2-3 rotation. Employees receive two 20-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid break.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
