Job Description
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for performing specialized tasks in various departments, including loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, and fabrication. This role may involve a generalized approach to working across all departments, ensuring efficient loading of products onto trucks.
ResponsibilitiesComplete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles.Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets.Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.Verify computations against the physical count of stock.Maintain the condition of the work area, ensuring it is free of trash and products are in the correct locations.Follow company safety policies and procedures, encouraging other associates to do the same.Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to installers and subcontractors.Drive trucks to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations.Operate forklifts or other machinery to complete tasks.Perform routine inspections of vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.Deliver merchandise to customers and contact them if they are not present.Follow all State and Federal Laws when operating company vehicles.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsGeneral labor skills, including packaging, counting, receiving, and shipping.Forklift experience (any kind).Reliable with a good attitude.Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment.Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR and DOT physical upon conversion.Good job tenure.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required.0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.Valid Driver's license; will eventually be driving to deliver products once converted.Knowledge of machines and tools.Proper licensing relative to equipment.Ability to pass a DOT physical.Ability to obtain TWIC Certifications.Forklift, delivery, and inventory experience.Work Environment
This role typically operates in a comfortable environment but involves regular exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes, which may cause discomfort or pose a moderate risk of accident or illness. The position requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes. It involves repetitive movements, including using a 10-key or calculator, bending, squatting, walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
