**Job Description**
We are currently seeking dedicated Environmental Technicians to manage and process non-hazardous waste. This role involves unloading waste from vehicles, decontaminating vehicles, and staging waste for scanning and processing. This position requires individuals to be on their feet for extended periods and to perform duties safely and productively.
**Responsibilities**
+ Unload non-hazardous waste from incoming vehicles and trucks.
+ Load sorted materials from bins, pallets, and boxes into vehicles and trucks.
+ Sort non-hazardous materials into designated sections.
+ Break down boxes in which materials are delivered.
+ Address housekeeping issues immediately, ensuring spills are cleaned, floors are dry, and debris is cleared.
+ Ensure boxes are properly sealed and pallets are secured using shrink wrap before transportation.
+ Assist in other areas of plant operations as directed, with cross-training in D-Pak, Retail, and Distribution Center departments.

**Work Environment**
This role is set in a climate-controlled indoor environment with high activity levels requiring constant safety awareness. The warehouse utilizes forklifts for material transportation and operates as a 10-day holding facility, requiring efficient processing and shipping within this timeframe.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
