Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a large manufacturing facility in Anderson, IN as a Warehouse Worker. You will be integral in managing the distribution center operations, including picking, loading, and receiving. This role offers an open-ended contract with potential opportunities for permanent positions based on performance. The position has openings on night shifts with structured training periods.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately pick products from designated locations based on order specifications.Safely operate an electric pallet jack to transport products throughout the warehouse.Use scanning equipment to ensure correct items are picked and track inventory.Double-check picked items against order lists to ensure accuracy.Place picked items onto pallets in a secure and organized manner.Pull pallets off the conveyor and scan using provided equipment.Utilize the SAP system to determine the appropriate door for each pallet.Transport pallets to designated doors using a sit-down forklift.Ensure all safety protocols are followed during loading and receiving processes.Unload shipments from trucks and other delivery vehicles.Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.Stage the area for the next order by tucking the tails, ensuring tags and labels are correct, and putting items away.Essential SkillsWillingness to operate electric pallet jack.Willingness to learn and operate sit-down forklift.Ability to work in cold temperatures.Self-motivated and capable of staying on task.Additional Skills & QualificationsRF scanner experience.Picking experience in a warehouse environment.Electric pallet jack experience.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The warehouse maintains a temperature of approximately 45 degrees, with all necessary cold weather equipment provided. The dress code includes jeans, steel-toe or composite-toed shoes. You will have access to cold weather gear such as bibs and gloves.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anderson, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
