Warehouse Worker
**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** Join our team in a large industrial hardware distribution center where you will engage in general warehouse duties across various departments and shifts including inventory control, shipping, receiving, order filling, and stocking. You will utilize RF scan guns, headsets, forklifts, and other equipment to efficiently manage and move merchandise. **Responsibilities** + Shipping: Start times at 8AM and 10AM. Sort, scan, check merchandise, and ensure products are loaded onto the proper pallet or truck for delivery. Build pallets, load trucks, and operate handheld scanners, electric power jacks, and forklifts. Frequently lift and carry items weighing 0-70lbs, occasionally over 70lbs, involving extensive twisting, bending, squatting, and reaching. + Receiving: Start times at 3AM and 6AM. Unload incoming trucks, rebuild pallets, scan and receive inbound merchandise. Sort items by department, re-palletize, wrap, and prepare for transport. Verify pallet counts and receiving labels, delivering scanned merchandise to staging areas. Constantly lift and carry 20-50lbs, occasionally over 50lbs, with frequent bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching. + Stocking: Start times at 3:00AM, 4:50AM, 8AM, and 10AM. Move merchandise throughout the distribution center, placing products on shelves and stocking inbound items in designated locations. Use power equipment like reach trucks for heavier items and unpack smaller items for shelving. Frequently lift and carry 20-50lbs, occasionally over 50lbs, with frequent bending and reaching. + Repack Order Fillers: Start time at 5AM. Pick smaller items, fill totes, and label cartons for identification and scanning. Operate using a headset for guidance on location and quantity, working in a fast-paced environment. Frequently lift 0-50lbs+, occasionally carry 20-50lbs with frequent bending, twisting, and climbing. + Full Case Order Fillers: Start time at 5AM. Pick heavier merchandise and larger items, label cartons for identification, and drive stock pickers, reach trucks, or forklifts. Constantly lift and carry 50-60lbs+ with frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching. + Inventory Control: Start time at 4:45AM. Audit daily inventory reports, perform physical audits, investigate inventory inaccuracies, and resolve related problems. Prepare shipments for return, communicate with vendors, and provide customer service. Constantly lift/carry under 20lbs, occasionally lifting/carrying 20-50lbs with frequent bending and squatting. **Essential Skills** + Experience with shipping and receiving, order picking, RF scanners, and order pulling. + Power equipment, forklift, reach truck, and order picker experience. + Prior warehouse experience preferred. + Experience in fast-paced or heavy labor jobs, repack, stocking, material handling, inventory, forklift, packing, labeling, loading. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proficiency in data entry and computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and Excel. + Strong math and reading skills. + Ability to interact effectively with other departments and management. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers an incentive bonus based on average pick rate, with amazing benefits that kick in after 30 days. The environment is physical, fast-paced, and dynamic, with employees actively engaging in various roles. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of POST FALLS, Idaho. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
