Warehouse Worker
**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for executing, monitoring, and training inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including both the front end and pharmacy. You will support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. You will champion On Shelf Availability and be responsible for receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes. Additionally, you will validate and ensure the accuracy of planograms and be responsible for reviewing and coordinating the proper use of reports and system applications that impact the accuracy of front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing. You will execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques and file claims for warehouse and vendor overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods including prescription drugs. In designated stores, you may also open and close the store in the absence of store management, ensuring all required systems start-ups, cash handling, and cashier responsibilities are completed, and the floor and stockroom are ready for the business day. **Responsibilities** + Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer. + Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. + Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors. + Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. + Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. + Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations. + Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment. + Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. + Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers. + Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. **Essential Skills** + Verbal and written communication skills. + Analytical and problem-solving ability. + Team player and detail-oriented. + Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED required. + At least 1 year of experience as an Inventory Specialist or similar role. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values teamwork and detail-oriented individuals. The role involves working in stockrooms, warehouses, and storage yards, using various tools and equipment. You will be expected to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in all areas. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
