**Job Title: Forklift Operator $19/HR** Location: Eldridge, Iowa Shift: First Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) **Key Responsibilities** + Operate a sit-down forklift for 20%–50% of the workday. + Consistently lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 75 lbs. + Accurately pack chemicals and apply proper labeling. + Stage, wrap, and prepare products for shipment. + Load and unload 5–10 trailers daily. + Rotate and manage raw material inventory. + Adhere strictly to OSHA, ISO, and internal safety protocols. **Essential Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum 1 year of forklift experience. + Proficient in sit-down forklift operation. + Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems. + Experience in production, shipping, and material handling. + Strong attention to detail, especially in labeling and packaging. **Work Environment** + Clean, well-lit, and organized warehouse setting. + Supplies chemicals to steel manufacturers. + Tight-knit team of ~20 employees with a collaborative, multi-tasking culture. + Safety is a top priority, especially in confined spaces. **Why Join Us?** + Stable first-shift hours with optional overtime. + Uniforms provided upon direct hire. + Supportive, people-first culture—many full-time employees started as temps. + Paid time off, vacation, and quarterly raises available. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
