Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

The role of a warehouse worker involves performing various physical tasks within a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. As a 1st shift warehouse associate, your work hours will be Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 am, with flexibility to begin at 8 am. Employees are required to kneel, squat, reach, and bend frequently to process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials. This position demands manual lifting, carrying, and arranging of boxes while standing, stooping, crawling, kneeling, and twisting.

ResponsibilitiesScan correct boxes and perform accurate order pulling while meeting productivity metrics.Walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.Work independently to grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes, including navigating inclines, stairs, and uneven surfaces.Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.Utilize the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.Operate hand-held scanners and balance on ladders.Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance for prolonged periods.Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids.Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.Load boxes onto pallets and manually or with material handling aids load pallets onto trucks.Essential SkillsGeneral labor experience.Order pulling proficiency.RF scanner usage.Order processing abilities.Material handling expertise.Loading and unloading skills.Pick and pallet jack operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsSteel-toed boots are required.Ability to handle constant heavy lifting.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
