**Material Handler 1st Shift** **Monday-Friday 9am-6pm** **Job Description** This position involves performing various material handling activities, including operating equipment, loading and unloading freight, and moving products using handheld barcode scanners. The role also requires conducting inspections and minor maintenance on forklift equipment, ensuring accuracy and promoting safety within the warehouse. **Responsibilities** + Operate materials handling equipment effectively. + Load and unload freight with precision. + Move products through receipt, picking, or packing using handheld barcode scanners. + Check and count freight for accuracy. + Inspect and perform minor maintenance on forklift equipment daily. + Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. + Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. + Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. + Perform other job functions as assigned. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
