**Day Shift Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to assist in filling gas cylinders, both high and low pressure, and liquid containers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures. This role involves reading and interpreting cylinder labels and tank color coding to understand the hazards of various gases. You will also be responsible for accurately labeling cylinders, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting customers at the front of the store using a computer for order placement and inquiries. Maintaining a clean and organized store and warehouse environment is essential. **Responsibilities** + Fill gas cylinders and liquid containers following safety and quality procedures. + Read and interpret cylinder labels and tank color coding to understand hazards. + Accurately label cylinders. + Load and unload trucks efficiently. + Assist customers at the front of the store with order placement and inquiries using a computer. + Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store and warehouse. **Shift** The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 4 PM. **Essential Skills** + Minimum one year of experience in the gas/welding industry as a warehouse worker or driver. + Ability to safely operate a forklift. + Comfortable working with customers and assisting with orders. + Proficient in using a computer for order lookup and customer assistance. + Physical ability to push carts with 200+ lb cylinders and lift 50+ lb containers. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with loading/unloading trucks, material handling, and inventory management. + Proficiency in using a pallet jack and engaging in general production tasks. **Work Environment** The role is set in a warehouse environment where wearing steel-toed boots with metatarsal guards is required. **Why Work Here?** Join a team committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
