**Job Title: Warehouse Worker**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented warehouse worker to support our operations with responsibilities ranging from equipment inspection to delivery. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a technician position while working in a dynamic environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Inspect and operate machines prior to delivery.
+ Load and unload delivery vehicles with equipment scheduled for delivery.
+ Deliver and pick up equipment from correct addresses and assist in setting up and tearing down equipment on job sites.
+ Explain proper use and care of products to customers.
+ Retrieve equipment for customers, assist with loading, and restock returned products.
+ Inspect returned products to ensure they are clean, in good repair, and properly maintained.
+ Identify and tag products needing repair, cleaning, or modification before restocking.
+ Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the facilities and company vehicles.
+ Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
+ Complete paperwork efficiently and accurately maintain records of hours worked, account services, and administrative time.
+ Determine necessary parts, materials, and supplies for repairs, maintenance, or modifications.
+ Clean equipment and components.
+ Remove, disassemble, assemble, and install components and parts.
+ Comfortably work outside year-round and move between buildings for order picking.
+ Pull orders from the storeroom for sales and rental orders, and pack products for shipment.
+ Test equipment before shipping to ensure proper functionality.
+ Measure cable spools to confirm correct lengths and report discrepancies.
+ Count and confirm boxes received to ensure order accuracy.
**Essential Skills**
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to follow assembly and repair instructions.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
+ Experience with general labor, production, automotive repair, and machine operation.
+ Proficiency with hand and power tools.
+ Experience with forklift operation, packing, inventory, shipping and receiving, picking, packaging, and material handling.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Any HVAC experience is a plus.
+ Ability to listen, understand, and follow directions.
+ Flexibility to adapt to changing day-to-day responsibilities.

**Work Environment**
Work in a large property with multiple buildings including offices, a warehouse, and a shop for generator work. Expect to work mainly in the main warehouse. Collaborate with a team of about 15 others in the rental business and 7 technicians, with additional support from office staff. Training will be provided by senior technicians. Dress code requires steel-toed shoes, long pants, and a work shirt. The standard working hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime of 5-10 hours depending on workload.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Johnsburg, Illinois.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
