Warehouse Worker
**Job Title: Warehouse Worker** **Job Description** As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for efficiently processing customer orders, handling materials, and using shipping software within a warehouse environment. The role requires physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for the entire shift. **Responsibilities** + Process customer orders by locating the correct products as listed on pick tickets and ensuring the proper quantities are selected according to style, size, and color. + Manage daily shipments of consumable and manufactured goods from the warehouse. + Utilize shipping software like UPS World Ship and Starship to accurately ship products. + Collate packing slips and shipping labels accurately for each order. + Pick, package, and ship products to customers and suppliers according to company standards. + Enter data accurately for invoicing and shipping purposes. + Prepare items for shipment, ensuring all parts are pulled correctly. + Monitor inventory and quality control within the warehouse distribution center. + Receive shipments into the system and store them on shelves. + Operate a forklift or pallet jack for loading and unloading trucks. + Maintain good housekeeping in the shipping area using lean 5-S standards. + Understand freight rates, classifications, and interstate commerce laws for economical transportation. + Assemble orders, check against shipping or customer orders, report shortages, and follow up on incomplete orders. + Route shipments and arrange for carrier product pickups. + Implement continuous improvements and Lean Manufacturing practices. + Promote safety and adhere to safety standards. + Check and respond to emails regularly and in a timely manner. **Essential Skills** + Experience with inventory management and production processes. + Proficiency in using RF scanners and handling materials. + Capability in shipping, receiving, and general labor tasks. + Skill in operating forklifts and pallet jacks. + Familiarity with packing, picking, and warehouse logistics. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + General knowledge of freight rates and interstate commerce regulations. + Experience in implementing Lean Manufacturing practices. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive warehouse team committed to safety and continuous improvement.
