Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Warehouse Workers. This role involves handling packages, supporting aircraft operations, and ensuring efficient cargo operations in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Unload packages from freight containers.Load packages into freight containers.Stage packages for pickup from the main entity.Lift packages weighing up to 35 lbs unassisted.Work predominantly within a warehouse environment.Support ramp operations by unloading containers and loose freight from aircraft.Marshal tugs and k-loaders around aircraft.Provide warehouse support once aircraft are unloaded, with duties split between indoor and outdoor environments.

Essential Skills

Experience in unloading, loading, warehouse, shipping, and receiving (minimum of 3 months).Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency with forklifts, packing, inventory management, and general labor.Experience using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and performing order picking.Skills in material handling, packaging, and labeling.

Work Environment

Our facility supports the new Amazon AIR facility, operating in a hanger/warehouse-style environment near major airports. The work schedule includes different shifts, with employees working 5 days in a row with 2 consecutive days off, potentially including weekends. Shift preferences may be requested but are subject to availability and seniority. The position offers 40-hour work weeks with potential opportunities for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swanton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
