**Job Title: Driver** **Job Description** The role of a driver involves performing general warehouse duties and ensuring the timely receipt and delivery of products. This position requires someone open to driving to Charleston, GA or Asheville, with same-day return trips, making deliveries to music stores, returning rental equipment, and communicating with store managers at drop-off points. **Responsibilities** + Lift up to 50 lbs constantly. + Locate and transfer products for sales orders generated daily, ensuring the physical product matches the description on the sales order. + Prepare products for shipping in line with company standards. + Drive a company-provided vehicle between locations to deliver company-owned products while adhering to all traffic regulations. + Load and unload vehicles, sometimes using or removing items from a rolling cart. + Move products to different locations within a facility or assist in packing carts for loading. + Assist warehouse associates with other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Proficient driving skills with at least 6 months of driving experience. + Clean driving record. + Strong customer service skills. + Experience in loading and unloading. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED (required). + 6 months of warehouse experience (preferred). + 1 year of delivery driving experience (preferred). + Basic understanding of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). + Ability to understand warehouse locations and locate products. + Attention to detail is essential. + Ability to quickly identify errors and know how to correct them. + Capability to thrive under deadline-based assignments. + Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds. + Ability to stand for long periods. + Ability to walk up to 2 miles during the workday. + Ability to perform repetitive motions for extended periods. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to transition from contract to direct employment, with proven dedication and adaptability. Drivers may start their route as early as 6 am to complete an 8-hour day, with some routes extending to 10 hours for a 4-day workweek. On rare occasions, routes may extend to 15 hours due to road accidents. If there are no routes, drivers will work in the warehouse. The warehouse opens at 11 am. Breaks include a 1/2 hour lunch and two 15-minute breaks. The dress code is casual, with closed-toed shoes required. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
