**Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor** **Job Description**
The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the Superintendent and Plant Manager to oversee all operations, ensuring efficiency in inbound, outbound, and claims processing. The role involves delivering objectives, including covering crews in the supervisor's absence, attending and facilitating crew meetings, and preparing and maintaining work-related records. The supervisor is also responsible for scheduling the workforce, including overtime and vacation, and championing continuous improvement initiatives.
**Responsibilities**
+ Manage day-to-day PRC operations while maintaining strict controls over processes and procedures.
+ Lead hourly teams in daily operations, overseeing all staffing issues such as attendance, vacation, and daily assignments.
+ Develop and implement projects to improve operating metrics and reduce budget expenses.
+ Develop strong working relationships with UAW counterparts.
+ Implement a continuous improvement culture with hourly staff.
+ Develop and lead all safety initiatives to promote a safe working environment.
+ Actively participate in developing a safety culture that maintains a zero-incident mindset.
+ Proactively address all safety concerns expediently.
+ Work with salary and hourly teams to improve safety culture and adherence to safety guidelines.
+ Maintain and develop strong quality procedures to ensure the facility functions at the highest levels.
**Essential Skills**
+ Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.
+ Previous UAW/HVC supervisory experience preferred.
+ Knowledge or ability to learn current systems (SAP/EWM).
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
+ Ability to interpret data, evaluate actions, and reach logical conclusions independently.
+ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to demand accountability from all employees.
+ Proven dependability record and successful team-oriented experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High School Diploma required.
+ 1+ years of previous supervision experience.
+ Experience in building safety, positive UAW relationships, and error rate management.
+ Willingness to work all shifts as required.

**Work Environment**
The Brownstown Parts Redistribution Center (PRC) is a large warehousing facility where aftermarket parts are received, stored, and shipped to dealerships nationwide. The facility operates two shifts and includes a sheet metal operation, standard warehousing, and a dock operation. Safety is a top priority, with safety vests and glasses required at all times on the warehousing floor. The role requires flexibility to work outside traditional hours, including some weekends and overtime as business needs dictate.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of ROMULUS, MI.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $29.38 - $32.44/hr.
