Warehouse Supervisor Details:

Direct Hire position$60,000.00 to $85,000.00 /annuallyFirst ShiftResponsible for training warehouse personnel in safe and efficient warehouse operationsPartners with the Health & Safety department to advance warehouse department safety programs and improve employee safety in the workplace. Responsible for investigating and reporting safety incidents to identify corrective actions and address safety findingsEstablishes and executes processes to ensure accuracy of all department functionsProactively monitors and measures warehouse department throughput and quality metrics; responsible for coaching, counseling, and managing employees via timely feedback and developmentResponsible for scheduling daily and weekly assignments for the shift leads and front-line warehouse team; leverages and administers policies, programs, and procedures to maximize output while minimizing labor costsResponsible for taking necessary action on all food safety and quality problems reported or observedMaintains communication with the department manager and shift leads on warehouse operational priorities and resource needsPartners with the Inventory Coordinator to improve inventory integrity, troubleshoot areas of concern, and leads the team through established cycle counting processesLeverages 5S and lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement processes, positively impacting the areas of quality, productivity, and sanitationAssists Plant Materials Manager in the annual development of department operating budget

Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications:

HS Diploma or GED Equivalent from an accredited institution (Bachelors Degree Preferred but not required) (Experience over Degree)1+ years of team or project leadership experience3+ years supervisory experience (Preferred)3+ years manufacturing experiencePrevious experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and extra hours, as needed
