**Job Title: Warehouse Specialist** **Job Description**
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for activities related to the receiving of raw materials, control of inventory, and shipment of finished goods. This position follows established procedures in the execution of daily activities but will also be called upon to create and document standard processes for the team.
**Responsibilities**
+ Receive incoming raw materials according to standard operating procedures (SOP) and identify variances, coordinating with purchasing and requisitioner to resolve issues.
+ Place materials into inventory according to identifying information and maintain physical control of inventory.
+ Ensure the timely and accurate shipment of finished goods both domestically and internationally.
+ Coordinate with freight carriers to determine the best shipping method and pricing to meet customer requirements.
+ Maintain the ERP system with all material transactions into and out of inventory, ensuring compliance with Quality System Regulations (QSR).
+ Responsible for month-end inventory verification and cycle counts as assigned.
+ Participate in physical inventory counts as assigned.
+ Understand warehouse capacity and lean inventory practices, implementing continuous improvement, 5S, and lean/six-sigma in line with corporate strategic direction.
+ Perform all activities within the confines of the Quality System and cGMP principles.
**Essential Skills**
+ High School diploma or GED or related experience.
+ Experience with a computerized MRP/ERP system (SAP preferred).
+ Experience in shipping/receiving in a manufacturing environment.
+ Experience utilizing warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and lifts.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with freight carriers, terms, and international shipping requirements.
+ Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage time to deliver results on time.
+ Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to develop and document processes.
+ Professional interpersonal skills and ability to interact with personnel from all areas of the organization.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bedford, MA.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
